The end is finally here. Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity reaches its dramatic conclusion on Tuesday, September 15, with the launch of Code of Creation—a major update packed with a new zone, story finale, raid content, legendary rewards, and more.

The new update takes players into Leyspring Hollows, where the story surrounding the mysterious island of Castora comes to a head. After uncovering ancient secrets and disrupting the Inquest’s plans, players must stop Vloxx from making a decision that could have consequences for all of Tyria.

But saving the world is only part of the fun.

Players can explore Leyspring Hollows, train the new Rift Amplification Mastery, collect the Tenebral Ward armor and Shining Ward weapon set, unlock new relics, and chase legendary rewards—including the mysterious Wages of Stars sword and a new Volatile Ascension infusion.

And if you’re looking for trouble with friends, Code of Creation has plenty of it. The update introduces Nexus of Eternity, a new 10-player raid encounter, along with the Solitary Throne fractal for groups of up to five and a new 50-player Convergence challenging players to save Tyria against the clock. Challenge and Legendary modes will roll out in the weeks following launch.

A fresh Wizard’s Vault season will also bring new objectives and rewards, including a chair, armor, and weapon skins.

For Visions of Eternity players, this is the big one: the story that began on Castora is about to reach its explosive finale.

Guild Wars 2: Visions of Eternity is available for $24.99 on Steam and through the official Guild Wars 2 website. Expansion owners receive access to Code of Creation when it launches.

No subscription. No waiting. Just another adventure waiting in Tyria.
