Got a thing for cozy farming, dangerous dungeons, and building a home with your friends? Delverium might be worth a look.
Brisbane-based indie studio Sagestone Games has launched its co-operative survival adventure into Steam Early Access, inviting players to explore a massive procedurally generated fantasy world either solo or with friends.
And there’s plenty to do.
Players can gather resources, grow crops, craft weapons and armor, build settlements, recruit NPCs, fish by the river, and head underground in search of treasure. With support for up to eight players online or four players via local split-screen, Delverium is designed to let players decide how they want to spend their time.
Prefer a quiet afternoon tending crops? Go for it. Feel like charging into a lava-filled dungeon looking for trouble? That works, too.
The bigger mystery is the world itself. Players will uncover fragments of lore while hunting down mysterious entities known as the “Faults,” gradually piecing together the hidden story behind Delverium.
Early Access also means the adventure isn’t finished yet. Sagestone Games plans to add new bosses, biomes, modding support, and other features as development continues, with player feedback helping shape what’s next.
“Delverium” is primarily the work of indie developer Scott Lowther, created with support from BAFTA Award-winning composer and audio director Jeff van Dyck, known for Unpacking, Forts, and Paint the Town Red, along with a handful of close collaborators.
For players who like their survival games with a little farming, fantasy exploration, and dungeon crawling mixed in, Delverium is now open for business—and the adventure is just getting started.
