Forty years later, Seymour Krelborn and Audrey II are still hungry—and now they’re looking better than ever.
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Frank Oz’s Little Shop of Horrors with a new 4K Blu-ray SteelBook arriving October 6. Based on the stage musical and the 1960 Roger Corman cult classic, the 1986 film remains one of the strangest—and most entertaining—musicals ever put on screen.

Seymour is a lovable, awkward employee at a struggling Skid Row flower shop who discovers a mysterious plant following an eclipse. He names it Audrey II, after the woman he secretly loves. The plant brings customers, fame and success to the shop.
There’s just one problem.
Audrey II has a serious appetite for blood.
And eventually, Seymour discovers that the plant’s ambitions go well beyond keeping the flower shop in business.
A Fresh Coat of Green
The new release gives the cult favorite a major technical upgrade, featuring a new 4K restoration, Dolby Vision/HDR and a Dolby Atmos soundtrack. Even better, fans get both the Theatrical Version and Director’s Cut, including the infamous alternate ending.
The package also includes new behind-the-scenes features exploring why the movie has remained a favorite for four decades and how the legendary Audrey II was brought to life through puppetry.
Special Features Include:
- New 4K restoration
