Vision is back, and he’s got some serious baggage. Marvel’s VisionQuest, premiering October 13 on Disney+, brings Paul Bettany’s android Avenger back for a story packed with family mysteries, identity struggles, and the return of one of the MCU’s most dangerous villains: Ultron.

The eight-episode series is the final chapter in the television trilogy that began with WandaVision and continued with Agatha All Along.

A Battle Inside Vision’s Mind

Picking up after WandaVision, VisionQuest follows White Vision as he tries to figure out who he is after recovering his memories. Looking for answers, he turns to the AI personalities inside his programming—including J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., and Ultron.

Yes, James Spader is returning as Ultron, and this time, he’s living inside Vision’s head. As if that weren’t complicated enough, Vision finds himself on the run with Thomas Shepard, a mysterious teenager who may be connected to his son.

The result? A Marvel story that mixes superhero drama with questions of identity, family, and whether Vision can truly escape his past.

Who’s in the Cast?

Bettany and Spader lead a cast that includes Ruaridh Mollica as Thomas Shepard, James D’Arcy as J.A.R.V.I.S., Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., and Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H. Star Trek: Picard veteran Terry Matalas serves as creator and showrunner, while WandaVision creator Jac Schaeffer returns as an executive producer.

When Can You Watch?

VisionQuest premieres October 13 on Disney+ in the U.S., with the first two episodes dropping at 9 p.m. ET. New episodes arrive weekly, with the season finale scheduled for November 11.

Can Vision forge a new identity, or will Ultron’s influence pull him back toward his darkest origins? With a possible family reunion and a familiar villain back in the mix, Marvel’s next chapter looks ready to take Vision somewhere unexpected.
