Irish rock newcomers Bleech 9:3 are getting into the Halloween spirit with a haunting new cover of The Cure’s iconic anthem, “Lullaby,” released via Interscope Records.

Arriving just in time for Halloween weekend, the band’s take on the classic is stark, shadowy, and unmistakably their own. The cover also pays tribute to one of the band’s key influences while offering a glimpse into the darker sonic territory they’re exploring ahead of their debut album, Bleed.

“‘Lullaby’ brings fear to life through song in a way that has been hugely influential for us,” the band explain. “We wanted to pay homage to both the song and the band at this point in our journey.”

The release follows “Tourniquet,” their biggest single to date, which earned BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Record in the World distinction from Jack Saunders and praise from Kerrang! and The Line of Best Fit. Produced by Dan Carey (Fontaines D.C., Wet Leg) and mixed by Rich Costey (Arctic Monkeys, Bruce Springsteen), the track has helped build serious anticipation for Bleed, expected in 2027.

Bleech 9:3 are also carrying plenty of momentum onto the road. Their upcoming 2027 tour includes sold-out U.S. dates at New York’s Mercury Lounge on January 21 and Los Angeles’ The Echo on February 3, both of which sold out within minutes. The band will also play London’s O2 Kentish Town Forum.

With their fall headline tour already sold out and a growing reputation as one of the most exciting new acts coming out of the UK and Ireland, Bleech 9:3 are making a strong case for themselves as a band to watch.
