Lady Gaga has officially announced her highly anticipated seventh studio album, MAYHEM, scheduled to release on March 7 via Interscope Records. Following a week of cryptic teasers, Gaga relaunched her website alongside a new merchandise collection celebrating the project. The album promises a bold return to her pop roots, blending the electrifying energy that catapulted her to stardom with a fresh and fearless artistic perspective.

Exploring themes of chaos and transformation, MAYHEM is a 14-track project executive produced by Gaga, Michael Polansky, and Andrew Watt. The album features previously released singles “Disease” and the chart-topping Bruno Mars collaboration “Die With a Smile.” MAYHEM reinvents Gaga’s early sound with a kaleidoscopic approach, drawing from her vast musical repertoire while offering fans a glimpse into her evolution as an artist.

The singles have already garnered critical acclaim. “Disease” has been praised for its innovative synth-driven production, with Rolling Stone describing its sound as “classic Gaga with a futuristic edge.” Meanwhile, “Die With a Smile” continues to dominate charts, becoming the fastest song to reach one billion streams on Spotify and earning two 2025 Grammy nominations.

Fans can look forward to the debut of MAYHEM’s third single on February 2 during the 2025 Grammy Awards. Gaga will also take the stage at FireAid on January 30 and headline Coachella this April, marking an exciting year ahead for the pop icon.

As the countdown to March 7 begins, MAYHEM is shaping up to be a defining moment in Lady Gaga’s legendary career, celebrating music’s power to unite and inspire. Fans can expect a thrilling journey through chaos, healing, and transformation.
