NARUTO fans have a new way to test their ninja skills.
BANDAI CO., LTD. has officially unveiled NARUTO CARD GAME, a brand-new strategy-focused trading card game based on Masashi Kishimoto’s iconic manga and anime franchise. Designed with competitive card game players in mind, the title is set for a worldwide launch in 2027.
Before then, fans will get their first chance to play at Gen Con 2026 in Indianapolis, where the game will make its world debut through free tutorial sessions from July 30 to August 2. Attendees can learn the basics using demo decks and walk away with exclusive promotional goodies, including a special Gen Con Chakra Card, backpack, sticker, and access to purchase a limited-edition playmat.
The announcement also included new artwork, a teaser video, and a message from Kishimoto himself: “I truly hope these cards find their way to both your hands and your hearts.”
More details—including card designs and the game’s roadmap—will be revealed on July 29, just ahead of Gen Con’s opening day.
With more than 250 million copies of the NARUTO manga in circulation worldwide, the beloved franchise is once again expanding its reach—this time onto tabletops around the globe.
