Level Infinite has officially unveiled Rust Mobile, bringing the unforgiving survival gameplay of the iconic PC title to mobile devices. Fully licensed by Facepunch Studios, this adaptation aims to deliver the same heart-pounding, high-stakes experience that made Rust a phenomenon—now optimized for gaming on the go.

Set in a harsh open-world environment, Rust Mobile is a first-person survival game where players must scavenge, build, craft, and fight to stay alive. Whether you’re braving wild animals or fending off rival players, every moment is a fight for survival. The mobile version retains core elements from the original, including permadeath, PvP combat, and base building, while introducing mobile-first features for a more flexible playstyle.

With a fully immersive real-time sandbox, Rust Mobile includes region-based biomes, a dynamic weather system, and a day-night cycle that forces players to adapt their strategies. Whether you go solo or join up with others, trust and betrayal remain constant threats—and often, the difference between life and death.

Designed with mobile gamers in mind, Rust Mobile offers drop-in-and-out convenience without compromising the gritty realism fans expect. Players can choose to dive deep into PvP chaos or take a more measured approach to survival, accommodating a wide range of playstyles.

The game will have its first public hands-on demo at gamescom 2025 in Cologne, running from August 20–24. Fans eager to experience Rust Mobile firsthand can head to Hall 6.1, Booth C-051g, where they’ll also find exclusive posters and merchandise—available while supplies last.

Following a successful early tech test in Canada earlier this year, Rust Mobile has undergone significant improvements in both performance and content. With gamescom just around the corner, Level Infinite is confident the game is ready for players to explore, survive, and thrive.

The trailer offers a first look at what’s in store—setting the stage for a brutal yet thrilling mobile experience. Whether you’re a longtime Rust veteran or new to the world of survival games, Rust Mobile looks set to make a serious impact in 2025.
