Embark Studios is pushing ARC Raiders into uncharted territory with The North Line, the game’s first major content update, launching Thursday, November 13 at 10:30 a.m. CET. This free update brings a wealth of new content — including the Stella Montis map, a global community unlock event, new ARC enemies, items, and questlines — expanding the fight to reclaim the surface.
After surpassing 700,000 concurrent players, ARC Raiders opens a new frontier: Stella Montis, a haunting region where pristine ruins hide humanity’s forgotten ambitions. Raiders who dare to explore its cold halls will uncover rare resources, new weapons, and blueprints — but access must first be earned. The tunnels will open only once the global community completes Breaking New Ground, a collaborative event uniting players worldwide.
During Breaking New Ground, players can contribute resources to help rebuild the tunnels to Stella Montis, earning Merits, a new event currency fueling progress toward Phase II: Staking Our Claim — packed with unique rewards and time-limited challenges.
The update also introduces two formidable ARC enemies — the Matriarch and Shredder — alongside the Aphelion Rifle, new grenades, and mine types like the Pulse and Gas Mines.
And this is just the start. Embark promises the next update, Cold Snap, arriving this December, bringing the Flickering Flames event and new world conditions.
