Preorders are officially live for High On Life 2, the foul-mouthed sci-fi shooter returning with even bigger worlds, stranger jokes, and more unhinged alien weaponry. Launching February 13, 2026, the sequel will hit Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store—and arrive day one on Xbox Game Pass.
Set after the events of the first game, humanity is supposedly safe, and your bounty-hunting legend is secure—until a mysterious villain targets your sister. That threat pulls you back into the cosmic underbelly, now ruled by a massive pharmaceutical megacorp pushing mood-control drugs and grotesque products like Humanzapro.
Core gameplay still revolves around your chatty, personality-packed Gatlian weapons, each with unique combat tricks and upgrade paths. The biggest new twist is a summonable skateboard that replaces sprinting, letting you grind rails, chain movement abilities, and turn firefights into chaotic skate arenas.
With larger planetary hubs, more side contracts, expanded traversal, and an even sharper comedic cast, High On Life 2 aims to dial up every part of the original’s strange, satirical universe.
Releasing February 13th and available Day One on Xbox Game Pass.
