Los Angeles heavy rock quartet Bronco Forte have unveiled the official video for “Obvious Alias,” the latest single from their forthcoming full-length album Lightning Scars. The release follows the band’s wildly imaginative Dungeons & Dragons–themed clip for “Lightning Scar,” produced by Zograscope Studios and starring John Ennis (Better Call Saul, Mr. Show with Bob and David).
At a time when desert-inspired doom can feel overworked, Bronco Forte channel the primal force that made Kyuss, Alice in Chains, and Soundgarden icons. Their sound revives driving riffs, undeniable hooks, and focused songwriting—equal parts grit and melody.
Fronted by guitarist/vocalist Chris Klepac alongside guitarist Sako Injaian, bassist Jen Glomboski, and drummer Geoff Summers, the band crafts songs that chronicle modern life across California’s cities and open spaces. Tracked and mixed by Kevin McCombs at North Hollywood’s famed The Steakhouse Studio—also home to Queens of the Stone Age’s Era Vulgaris sessions—and mastered by Nick Townsend, Lightning Scars delivers a fresh yet familiar blast of hard rock built for a new era.
