Belgian pop sensation Angèle returns with a striking new single, “What You Want,” crafted alongside French electronic duo Justice. Released on Angèle VL Records / Because Music, the track merges her featherlight, intimate pop with Justice’s industrial, synth-heavy swagger, creating a sound both muscular and emotionally precise.

The collaboration began backstage at a December 2024 Justice show in Brussels. Angèle played an unfinished track she loved, telling them, “Do what you want with it.” Justice infused the song with tension and scale, transforming it into the sultry, electrifying anthem fans hear today. Angèle reflects, “Bringing our worlds together without losing our identities — that’s the greatest success of this song!”

Accompanying the track is a cinematic (LA)HORDE-directed music video, shot on an iPhone 17 Pro through the backstreets of Marseille. It follows dancer Nora Monsecour in a night-time chase of desire, with Angèle commanding the scene, blending grit, grace, and empowerment. The video’s fluid, intimate lens captures movement, faces, and the electric chemistry of the track.

“What You Want” arrives after Angèle’s global milestones — from Coachella to Netflix and CHANEL campaigns — marking a new hinge in her career. English and French lyrics intertwine private longing with collective release: “What you want / I’m only / What you want / c’est pour la vie.”

A bold declaration of artistry, collaboration, and desire, “What You Want” positions Angèle at the thrilling intersection of pop and electro, fully in control of her sound and vision.
