“They Will Kill You” (2026) is a loud, blood-splattered mashup of action, horror, and comedy that turns class satire into pure carnage. Set inside a cursed New York high-rise known as The Virgil, the film follows Asia, an ex-convict who takes a housekeeping job with a hidden agenda: rescuing her sister from a secretive, elite cult.

Director Kirill Sokolov leans fully into chaos. The film trades subtlety for spectacle—flaming weapons, relentless dismemberment, and enemies that refuse to stay dead. It’s absurd, often funny, and unapologetically excessive, aiming more for late-night thrills than thoughtful restraint.

At its core, the movie taps into the familiar “eat-the-rich” formula, portraying the ultra-wealthy as literal devil-worshippers who treat human lives as disposable. The setting—a sealed, luxurious tower—reinforces this divide, turning privilege into something grotesque and predatory. Still, the social commentary rarely goes deeper than surface-level symbolism.

What holds it together is its lead performance. Asia brings grit and dark humor, grounding the film amid the chaos. Around her, the supporting cast embraces exaggerated, almost cartoonish villainy.

“They Will Kill You” doesn’t aim to be profound—but as a wild, gory ride with flashes of satire, it delivers exactly what it promises.
