FKA twigs Kicks Off a New Era with Lil Yachty Collaboration “On Your Mind”

FKA twigs is back—and she’s bringing Lil Yachty along for the ride.

The genre-defying artist has released her first new music of 2026, unveiling the electrifying single and video for “On Your Mind”, a euphoric electronic anthem that signals the start of an exciting new chapter.

The track arrives after a landmark six months for twigs, who picked up a GRAMMY for Best Dance/Electronic Album and wrapped her acclaimed Body High tour with massive performances at Madison Square Garden, Coachella, and London’s O2 Arena.

First teased during the European leg of the tour, “On Your Mind” was born from a difficult moment. Twigs revealed she wrote the song with Lil Yachty after learning visa issues would prevent her from completing part of her U.S. tour. Instead of giving in to frustration, she channelled that emotion into music.

“It never ceases to amaze me how pain can manifest into the hardest and most euphoric sonics,” she shared.

The release also serves as a celebration of perseverance. Reflecting on the completion of her first arena tour across the U.S. and Europe, twigs thanked fans for their unwavering support and hinted at even bigger things ahead.

Since releasing her GRAMMY-winning album EUSEXUA in 2025, twigs has remained unstoppable, delivering multiple acclaimed projects, starring in films including The Carpenter’s Son and Mother Mary, and landing the lead role as Josephine Baker in an upcoming biopic.
