Rainbow Six Siege is turning up the pressure. Ubisoft has officially launched Year 11 Season 3: Operation Split Fire, bringing a new Defender, map changes, fresh competitive options, and some fast-paced arcade fun to the tactical shooter.
At the heart of the update is Noor, an Egyptian Defender equipped with the new Horus Lance Launcher, giving teams another way to counter shield Operators and shake up defensive strategies.
Villa also gets a major rethink, with the underused Living Room/Library objective moved to the basement and permanent layout changes designed to open up more viable defensive options.
Competitive players have plenty to look forward to as well. Legend Division, a new ranked playlist, arrives mid-season for players who reach Champion Rank, with ShieldGuard Secure Platform verification and 2FA required.
Meanwhile, Stadium Alpha, Stadium Bravo, and House receive visual upgrades, while operator balancing tweaks target Kali, Dokkaebi, Lion, Echo, Kapkan and Claymores.
And if you want something a little more chaotic, 3v3 Arcade delivers quicker matches without losing Siege’s tactical edge.
The season also brings limited-time events, including Wasteland Circuit, which turns drones into speedy racers on custom obstacle courses through September and October. Later, the fan-favorite Doktor’s Curse Halloween event returns with new Operators joining the madness.
