Acclaimed folk-pop singer-songwriter Yoke Lore, known for his evocative and deeply introspective music, has just unveiled his highly anticipated new single, “The Score.” Released under his own label, Yell House Records, and distributed by Thirty Tigers, this track is now available for fans and listeners worldwide.

Yoke Lore, the stage name of Los Angeles-based multi-instrumentalist Adrian Galvin, offers a thought-provoking reflection on the themes of love and orientation in “The Score.” He describes the song as a meditation on love’s ability to guide and ground us, saying, “Love as an orientation tool. Eyes like dials. As if a compass or a clock or a level. There is a physical awareness to the soothe of balance. Like how the body uses sickness to communicate danger. The heart will put up walls. But paradise is built with persistence. And passion is a way of living. The game is knowing where you are. Orientation over location. Because ignorance isn’t bliss, it’s ignorance. And love keeps the score.”

To celebrate the release of “The Score” and other new music on the horizon, Yoke Lore is embarking on an extensive U.S. headline tour titled “The Autumn Amble: An Introspective Spectacular.” The tour kicks off on October 25 at Goldfield Trading Post in Roseville, CA, and continues through late November, with notable performances at iconic venues like Denver’s Ogden Theatre on October 31, Minneapolis’s First Avenue on November 4, and Portland’s State Theatre on November 24. Runnner will join as the supporting act throughout the tour. Additionally, Yoke Lore is slated to perform at “Briston Maroney Presents: Paradise (3rd Annual Festival)” on November 15 at Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl, a multi-artist event curated by Briston Maroney.
