Kerala-born, Houston-raised rapper Hanumankind has unleashed his long-awaited mixtape, Monsoon Season, marking a major moment in his fast-rising career. Following a string of explosive singles, viral music videos, and high-profile live appearances—including his debut at Coachella and a sold-out European tour—the twelve-track project arrives with considerable buzz.
Monsoon Season includes standout singles like “Run It Up,” “Holiday,” and “Villanous,” along with the breakout anthem “Big Dawgs,” now featuring a heavyweight remix with A$AP Rocky. The tape also boasts high-impact collaborations with rap powerhouses Denzel Curry on the fierce “Reckless,” and Maxo Kream on the brooding “Goons.”
Beyond the bangers, Hanumankind shows off a deeper, more introspective side. Tracks like “Someone Told Me” and “Cause” pull back the curtain on his inner world, exploring personal struggles, creative drive, and emotional vulnerability with raw lyricism.
Executive produced by longtime collaborator Kalmi, the project maintains a close-knit creative spirit, with production from regulars Parimal and engineer Akash Shravan. The trio’s synergy anchors the mixtape in trust and artistic brotherhood. Visual storytelling, helmed by artistic director Bijoy, provides a cohesive aesthetic that elevates Monsoon Season into a fully realized world.
According to Hanumankind’s team, Monsoon Season is a collection of tracks shaped before the spotlight—crafted in obscurity, during a time of steady grind and evolving identity. It’s a mixtape forged in silence, capturing the sound of transition, transformation, and tenacity.
Adding to the momentum, Hanumankind recently announced his first headlining North American tour. The OTW TOUR — NORTH AMERICA kicks off in Atlanta, GA, and will hit key cities like Washington, DC, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and a long-awaited stop in his hometown Houston, TX. This comes off the back of a triumphant European tour with sold-out shows in Amsterdam, Paris, Dublin, and London.
With Monsoon Season, Hanumankind is not just riding the wave—he’s becoming the storm.
