Warner Bros. Games has unveiled a thrilling new trailer for Mortal Kombat 1: Definitive Edition, celebrating the upcoming release of Mortal Kombat II from New Line Cinema and Warner Bros. Pictures. The latest preview highlights film-inspired character skins for fan favorites Johnny Cage, Kitana, Scorpion, and Shao Kahn, bringing the cinematic style of the new movie directly into the game.

Developed by NetherRealm Studios, Mortal Kombat 1: Definitive Edition is now available and delivers the most complete version of the hit fighting game. Alongside the main storyline, players receive previously released downloadable content, bonus features, and exclusive outfits inspired by the upcoming film. The game has already surpassed eight million units sold worldwide, proving the franchise remains one of gaming’s biggest successes.

Fans can also prepare for the theatrical launch of Mortal Kombat II, arriving in cinemas and IMAX on May 8. Players who purchase eligible movie tickets will receive a promotional code for 750 Dragon Krystals, the in-game currency used in Mortal Kombat 1. However, the promotion does not apply to the Nintendo Switch version.

With upgraded content, recognizable movie designs, and exciting crossover promotion, Mortal Kombat 1: Definitive Edition gives longtime fans and newcomers another reason to return to the arena before the anticipated sequel reaches theaters this year for audiences.
