The Revivalists are digging deep and telling their truth with “Get It Honest,” the emotional title track from their upcoming album of the same name, arriving July 24 via Concord Records.

The New Orleans rock favorites say the song came to frontman David Shaw in a dream, waking him in the middle of the night with lyrics he couldn’t ignore. Reflecting on nearly two decades of sobriety, Shaw channels vulnerability, self-reflection, and resilience into what has become the heart of the band’s sixth studio album.

“Get It Honest” offers a glimpse into a record shaped by experience, growth, and gratitude. With seven of the band’s eight members now fathers, the 12-track collection explores themes of redemption, love, and moving forward without letting the past define the future.

The album also features the soaring single “Heart Stop,” currently climbing the Billboard AAA chart, alongside fan favorites “Razorblades and Runways” and “Lost and Found.” Produced by GRAMMY-winning producer Rich Costey, Get It Honest marks the band’s first full-length album in more than three years and showcases a tighter, more focused sound than ever before.

To celebrate the release, The Revivalists will hit the road on the newly announced “Get It Honest Tour,” launching in July and running through the fall. The tour will include a unique “honest ticket” initiative, rewarding fans with concert tickets in exchange for community service.
