Ten years in, and Dead by Daylight isn’t slowing down.

Behaviour Interactive celebrated the game’s milestone anniversary in Montreal with thousands of fans, major announcements, and a clear message: the next decade in The Fog is going to be bigger than ever.

The headline reveal? Horror legend Jason Voorhees is finally joining Dead by Daylight on June 16 after years of fan requests. But that was only the beginning. Fans also got their first look at Shane Wiigwaas, the game’s first Indigenous Survivor, arriving in The Life Road Chapter on June 25.

The surprises kept coming with the announcement of Terrifier, bringing Art the Clown to the game this November, while Chorus of Sin—the first Chapter developed entirely with community collaboration—launches in August.

Looking ahead, Behaviour unveiled ambitious plans for the future, including a massive visual overhaul in 2027 featuring upgraded character models, dynamic weather systems, enhanced environments, and new voice lines. New game modes such as 1v1 and Zombie Mode are also on the way, alongside official sandboxed modding tools that will let players create their own maps and experiences.

The celebration also delivered fresh news on the upcoming Dead by Daylight movie, with director Thordur Palsson officially attached and production moving forward alongside Blumhouse Atomic Monster.

And for cosmetic collectors? The reveals were relentless. New collaborations include Scooby-Doo, Diablo, Iron Maiden, The Walking Dead, Silent Hill, and Ice Nine Kills, ensuring there’s plenty of fresh content waiting in The Fog.

A decade after its launch, Dead by Daylight remains one of gaming’s most successful live-service horror experiences—and if these announcements are any indication, its future looks brighter, darker, and more terrifying than ever.
