ZHU has just dropped his latest single, “Changes,” via Astralwerks, showcasing his unique vocals against a backdrop of dramatic piano accompaniment. The GRAMMY®-nominated artist uses this song to reflect on how being in the spotlight has influenced him, exploring the changes life inevitably brings. As the track unfolds, it takes flight, soaring and dipping with captivating abandon. Interestingly, ZHU recorded “Changes” in San Francisco’s historic Grace Cathedral, which has a rich history of involvement in social justice and the arts, dating back to the California Gold Rush.

With the European/UK tour already in motion, including sold-out nights at London’s Lafayette on August 3rd and 4th, ZHU will soon be launching his first North American headline tour in five years on September 14th. Due to overwhelming demand, The Grace Tour has expanded to include three nights at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Palladium and three shows at Brooklyn Mirage in NYC, with four of the six shows already sold out.

The North American tour, presented by Live Nation, is set to feature special guests like Channel Tres (DJ Set) at Brooklyn and San Francisco dates, Claptone at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, and Hayden James at the Los Angeles shows. Additionally, Noizu will join ZHU on select dates throughout the tour.

“Changes” is just a taste of what’s to come from ZHU’s upcoming album, for which more details will be unveiled soon. His previous release, “Revelations,” a collaboration with Devault and BabyJake, also features on the album and garnered praise from Rolling Stone, This Song Is Sick, and We Rave You.

Recently, ZHU has been keeping busy with several exciting collaborations, teaming up with Emotional Oranges on “Not Like This” and contributing an original track, “Fatal (Mortal Kombat 1),” for the popular video game franchise Mortal Kombat 1.

Moreover, ZHU showcased his NIGHTDAY fashion line, a collaboration with Emmy Slattery, during his 2022 EDC Las Vegas set. The collection, soon to be available at select retailers, takes its name from his successful debut EP, which includes the GRAMMY-nominated hit “Faded.” It’s evident that ZHU’s creative talents extend beyond just his music, making him a true multi-faceted artist to watch out for.
