Austin’s new experimental rock group, Club Coma, emerges with guitarist/vocalist Scott Martin and drummer Aaron Perez (formerly of Boyfrndz), alongside keyboardist/bassist Geoff Earle (from Stiletto Feels).
Blending elements of Rock, mid-aughts French touch, and early 1970’s R&B, their sound defies expectations. Martin and Perez’s previous band’s hazy, psychedelic rock takes on new melodic shades with seductive synths and danceable rhythms.

Formed in late 2022 during Boyfrndz’s hiatus and Geoff’s slowed solo endeavor, Club Coma found its members naturally gravitating toward collaboration. Scott’s desire for a new vocal outlet led him to approach Aaron, who had been playing drums for Geoff’s group. Serendipity struck when Scott and Geoff unexpectedly crossed paths, leading to fruitful weekly work sessions. The band wasted no time, selling out their first headline show at Mohawk in April 2023, even before releasing any music.
