Sylo, a dynamic and vulnerable voice in the alternative-R&B scene, is excited to announce that his much-anticipated new project, dreamt that I was, will drop on July 25 via The Orchard.

This announcement is paired with the release of his third single, “Babyboo,” featuring the globally-influenced Nonso Amadi, which is out now. Produced by Goldchain, “Babyboo” blends various genres, reflecting the diverse influences of both artists. The track beautifully captures the universal language of music and its ability to express sincere love.

Talking about working with Nonso Amadi, Sylo shared, “This song came from our very first session with Nonso. We created pure magic but didn’t have a place for it at the time. It’s been 3 years, and I’m thrilled we finally get to share it with the world.”

Sylo and Nonso also collaborated on the song’s cinematic official video, filmed in Ontario by frequent collaborator Kevin Lien. The video is a visual journey that ties together elements from Sylo’s previous works, presenting them in his most polished format yet.

From his upcoming project, Sylo has already released “Fall Into Me” and “So Familiar.” These tracks are loungey, sultry, and experimental, enveloping the listener with Sylo’s honey-like voice and his knack for finding beauty in the everyday. In May, Spotify honored Sylo on their Jasmine playlist for Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Another recent highlight is his COLORSxSTUDIOS session featuring “Mile End.”
