Get swept up in this frantic, paramedic action drama when it hits PlayStation and Steam in the coming months.

Veteran indie studio BancyCo (known for Home, Alone With You, Worse Than Death) has announced their eagerly awaited fourth original IP, Neo Harbor Rescue Squad, set to launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Steam later this year!

This arcade-style action game blends the mechanics of popular medical-themed games from the Wii and DS era with fast-paced, challenging minigames, letting players step into the shoes of a real paramedic. On PS5 and Steam, the game’s vibrant graphics shine in native 4K resolution. PS5 players also get an added dimension of immersion with the DualSense wireless controller.

The Rescue Squad has always been overshadowed by Neo Harbor City’s prestigious Fire Department, but that’s about to change! As the squad’s newest paramedic rookie, you’ll respond to emergencies across the city, handle tough patients, and defend the squad’s reputation from the scheming news reporter Betty Woo!

You’ll use a dynamic, high-energy triage system to manage multiple waves of patients on each call, capturing the urgency and critical decision-making of the job in an accessible way. Balance several scenes at once and use special shields to buy time to strategize, all against the ticking clock.

Get ready to master over 50 intense (and often hilarious) treatment minigames to stabilize patients and keep them from going critical—whether it’s performing CPR, stopping nosebleeds, wrapping bandages, using a defibrillator, and more!

Inspired by real stories from emergency personnel, the game weaves these into an over-the-top, dramatic tale of teamwork and rivalry. Co-Founder Nancy Yeung drew major inspiration from her hometown of Hong Kong for Neo Harbor City’s vibrant settings, including dim sum shops, night markets, and even an amusement park during a typhoon.

Make impactful choices throughout the city’s stunning visual novel scenes, featuring animated characters, expressive voices, and, of course, a cheeky talking dolphin!
